The International Skating Union confirmed the Olympic athlete’s death over the weekend with a somber statement on the ISU website.

The pair would go on to win the ISU Junior Grand Prix title in 2017 and represent Australia at the 2018 Olympic winter games before ending their figure skating partnership in 2020.
